Out of status for 2 month is not considered an issue for GC. The law 240K will waive your unauthorized status when adjudicating your GC, and remember, you were authorized to stay if I94 was still valid when you changed to F2.
The law 204(K) section allows to waive 180 unauthorized stay or illegal employment.
