Please advise: reinstate H1B after EAD

Can experts here give some ideas on

1. What is the difference between H1B transfer and H1B reinstatement? I mean in terms of the submitted forms, documents and application procedure

2. Would reinstatement of H1B affect the 485? I saw some discussion said reinstatement of H1B will invalidate 485. That is scary.... I thought H1B allows dual intention. So with H1B you can apply for 485. But in the other way around, as AOS 485 and using EAD, what would a H1B application mean to the pending 485? Any suggestions?
