I don't think in China, they care about your AP. When you enter the US, they will need you AP, passport, maybe bring your EAD just in case.

If you use AP the first time, bring all the copies with you. They will reissue a new I-94, stamp on both the AP and I-94, give back you one copy of your AP and take all the rest.
