I am H1, and my wife f1. We are both in a university doing biological research. My status changed from J1-H1 last year, I am here almost 4 years. After my daughter was refused at second time, my boss send a fax to US embassy in china. A return fax was received soon and was told the parents should come back by one/two person. Hope this can help you.
