關於留美讀書簽證問題

請問到美國讀研究生是否隻能申請F-1簽證，而不能申請 J-1呢。 我的情況是想給愛人辦陪讀，然後她過去讀書。這樣我申請F-1簽證不會影響她上學吧(因為學校的表格上寫著我可以申請兩個中的任何一種，但 F-2身份不能工作，隻能上關於娛樂休閑方麵的courses)。 另外填寫她想過去讀書簽證官不會認為我有移民傾向吧。
