Zhang & associates lawyer group always brings out an example for an athlete Eb1a case. the athlete got eb1a approved but 485 was still pending. When he switched to a coach position, IO requested a RFE to ask how his coach career would still contribute to the field. Hard to imagine if you are not able to provide an employment letter showing you are working in same field but in another field as a student to receive education only.
Can you sustain in the field (like, get another job with EAD in same field) till you finally get the card?
