We always rely too much on our lawyer & spent too much money unnecessary. My lawyer asked for $2000 when I changed my employer, so I DIYed & it passed. My lawyer asked for $1000 to accompany me to the interview, I showed the retainer we had signed & I am entited, so the lawyer gave in. My lawyer asked for $1000 for REF & recommend me to her lawyer friend after I refused. Her friend charge me $200 for consultation, so I DIYed. Tks to Teacher Pjiang, my REF passed.
So lots of times I wonder is a lawyer really necessary? By coming in this forum often, somehow I feel one can go through the whole immigration process without a lawyer.
Is lawyer needed or necessary?
