My experience

I had two copies of AP, and I only brought back one.
When I was at airport, the VO asked me how many copies I had when I only showed him one copy. I told him I left it at home. He left me pass.

Seems it requires to bring all. But it is not a big deal for them if you only bring one copy. At that time, I thought I can leave one copy at home as a backup in case it got lost during the trip.
