If you call CIS just before 1:00pm, you may talk to

an IO in 10 minutes. I tried twice the past 2 days at noon. One was at 12:45pm, another 12:20pm. The waiting time for the second call was more than 30 minutes, but that for the first one was about 15 minutes. I guess 12:00-1:00 is their lunch time. If you call just before 1:00pm, you would be the first caller in the afternoon.

BTW, I have the same problem. My case cannot be found in the automatic system. But I continued as usual, and talked to an IO at last.

What I did is,

dial 1-800-375-5283
then 1, 2, 2, 6, 1
#receipt
1, 1,
waiting for the message(no matter what it is), then
3, 4

(have a cup of coffee or whatever you like,)
