EAD, changing jobs? Help!

1. I have EAD now, no green card yet.
If I change my job, should I inform the US Immigration Service that I change my job?
Except EAD, do I need anything else to show to my new employer that i can work in the USA?
Will this slow our immigration process?
By the way, I aren't the principal applicant for immigration.

2. Is that worth for me to apply for jobs now or wait until I am laid off.
I am not sure if I will be laid off or not at this moment.
But interviews will take a lot of time. That may make my employer feel bad of me. Make things worse.
