N400填錯，麵試時怎麽辦？

各位專家，

我不知道carpool在加州算違法，所以在填N400時：
D. Good Moral Character
..
16. 寫了carpool ticket和付罰金即:

'Yes'

17. Have you ever been charged with committing any crime or offense?

我寫了'No'。

因為要麵試go over N400時想到這個問題，同DMV證實carpool是crime.
那我麵試時裝做不懂還是坦承自己犯了錯誤?
會不會因此不被批準入籍？
