I think XiaoBaitu's idea (file a EB1A) might be the best practical option for now. At least it will give you some time to prepare for the next step.

It is hard for a kid in this situation. I think it is more important to figure out a legal way to let your son finish his college smoothly. After that everything will be much easier...
