Xiao Bai Tu, Radiology, I need your help!

My wife is a F1 and has ted 485 with me. We got our APs and will go
back to China for a couple of weeks this December. Does she need tell the
office of international students about her 485 application? What should she
do before she leaves for China? Thanks a lot!

Is there any risk if she doesn't tell them her 485 application? She will not apply for OPT and will not renew her I-20 when she graduates. She still can do RA, right? Thanks a lot!
