My daughter's I-485 got approved today!

Five months after my wife and my I-485s were approved, my daughter's case finally got approved today. There is a update this morning, and current status changed to Approval notice sent this afternoon.

Basic information:

Case (NIW derivative) filled in September 2005
FP in December 2006 (Miss the first FP notice)
My wife and my case approved in June 2007
Approval notice for my daughter's case sent today

After my wife and my case got approved in June, I went to InfoPass to require for my daughter's case, and I was told that my daughter's case was pending because my case was not approved. When I told the officer that my case was approved, he sent an email to Texas center.

One call later to customer service indicated that my daughter's case may be wrongly linked to other whose case has not been approved because the offocer (not customer representative) can not find my name from my daughter's case but other. So it is likely that delay of my daughter's is due to some mistakes happened at CIS.

I continued to call and every time I was told that the case was in offier's hands. One mail sent on September 26 that responded to my call made in early August said that my daughter's case should be adjuncated within 60 days.

With approval of my daughter's case, our journey to green cards has concluded. I surfs on this forum for 2 to 3 years and got lot of useful information here from many nice persons. I greatly appreciate their input to this forum.

My personal experimnece to deal with immigration cases is that it is really necessary to make sure that cases are on the right tract either by calls or InforPass. Sometime you may meet rude persons, but next time you may have a nice guy. Do not give up as you do other things. A call to CIS or journey to InforPAss really take time and patience, but sometime it is worth if you are not lucky as others.
