AP not approved yet, have booked 12/07 flight to China. What to

We filed AP renewal in June, they got it on July 03. Still waiting on the approval. We booked our tickets in September thinking it should be approved by then. Now there is still one month to go, case is still pending. What to do if AP is not approved by then? Suggestions PLZ!Thanks!
Our case is in NSC.
