I did get information by phone as well as infopass.

I did not have luck to speak to an IO. The representative told me my NC was not clear yet.

What did I try to do ?

1. be nice and courtesy to her as much as possible.
2. greet her first.
Then, ask her to check if my NC is clear or not.
When I asked if she can check my GC application status first time, she said I can not give you any information about that.

When I asked if she can check if my NC is clear or not. She said "I can do that for you, hold down one second". Then she checked the computer and told me it was not clear.

When I went to local office through infopass, the IO even turned the computer to let me see the information in my account indicate that my two finger print checks were clear (she told me my finger print was used to search against FBI database), but my name check was not clear.

So try it again and have good luck.
