My prevailing wage was 30% higher than my current salary and I got 485 approved recently. I asked similar question recently and people said no problem even if employer don't pay that higher salary after 485 approval.
I think as long as your employer is willing to continue to sponsor your 140 and willing to provide financial statement when getting 140 RFE.
I think you don't need to worry
