回複：EAD without H4 or F1?

My wife and I file I485 (along with AP and EAR) recently and we expect to get EAD in December. My wife also applied CPT before and is waiting for that.

My wife has F1 visas which is going to expire in December.
- Her F-1 status expiration subject to I-20, which should have been updated due to CPT

After she gets EAD, can she go to work without renewing or applying H4 visas?
- Yes

I think since her status becomes AOS, she does not need H4 (and can not maintain her H4), right?
- Because not applying H-4, she becomes AOS upon expiration of F-1

I guess it is better to apply for H4 status, but since she applied for CPT, she can not apply for H4 now, since it may cancel her student status. We plan to use CPT and maintain her status if possible.

Please let me know 1)if it is good to wait to see if she gets CPT and to decide either to apply for H-4 later. 2)Is she in AOS? Does she need any other visa for her status?
