請教關於OPT

我們學校的老師說是必須已經持有F1visa 九個月才能申請OPT，但是我的朋友告訴我，隻要你當前狀態是F1，並且你已經做了九個月的full time student,就可以申請，那位大俠可以告訴我到底是怎樣？thanks a lot.
