Xiaobaitu, pjang and others: Will Infopass help the delivery of

My I-485 has been approved for over four month; however, I haven't got the plastic green card yet. After my I-485 approval, the USCIS sent me a biometrics appointment notice (code 3) in August 23, 2007, despite that my FP (Code 3) was already taken on Feburary 12, 2007. Then, I went to the Application Support Center to have my biometrics taken , but to the end, the officer at ASC told me that I actually didn't need this one. I was so confused at the spot. Later, I called the USCIS to check on the status of my case, and they only asked me to wait.

Since I will be relocated to another state, I was very concerned about the delivery of green card. I wonder if an infopass appointment with the local USCIS officer will be helpful on my case.
