Thank you for your reply, but I disagree with you on this. There is a 6 years limit on H1B. In order to
keep H1B status beyond the 6th year, one of the following has to happen:
1. I140 is filed before the end of 5th year;
2. application for the 7th year H1B extension is filed before the end of 5th year.
3. I-140 is approved before the 6th year is up.

Correct me if I am wrong.
