Can I keep two I-485? Employment & family, please help?

My hu*****and is citizen. If I want to submit family based I-485, do I need to withdraw my employment based I-485. I want to do both to see which one is faster...? Please advise. Thanks!

My1-40 approved April 2006. I-485 filed July, 2007. FP notice received two weeks ago. But I have not got AP. My parents has some heath issue, but not bad, but I need to go home to visit them. I worried about them... Someone told me it would take less time to get AP if I filed family based.
