Ask Xiaobaitu: about 485 RFE

Dear Xiaobaitu, last time I asked 485 RFE for my case. My question this time is, after I got the email or online notice from USCIS, how soon should I receive the RFE letter in the mail?

I got the email notice on Oct 3, but till now, I have not received the RFE letter yet. I called to USCIS, they asked me to wait until Oct 18. After then, if I still can not have it, ask me to call them again. Is it normal?
