J1 waiver information share

Some people think the J-1 2-yr home country residence requirement can not be waivered if your program has ever been extended to 5 yrs. I have ever seen several information that said so on this BBS, I think this is NOT true! So anybody is in this situation, go ahead to apply for the waiver if you like or need, you will be treated as normal J1. Hope this will be help.
