I submitted my I-485 petition after I got I-140 receipt. By my personal opinion, the concurrent petition should be faster. I have got fingerprint notice when my I-140 is still pending.

In the other hand, the I-485 petition fee is just about 300. It is so little money compared to the time and energy we spend in our GC petition. If it can make the process faster, that's good. If it can not, it does not matter.
