09/26/2006 I140 & I485 concurrent filing (LP & me)
10/24/2006 EAD/AP received
11/07/2006 FP
07/04/2007 I140 RFE received (3 more recommendation letters)
07/23/2007 I140 approved
09/06/2007 Called USCIS and was told NC was cleared
09/26/2007 I485 RFE (birth certificates for both of us, and TB skin test for LP)
09/27/2007 Called USCIS and was told that visa number was not available until October 2007, and asked me to call them again in 2 months
10/04/2007 Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

Praise God for making what seems impossible a reality. Thanks Eric for help with I140 RFE. Many thanks for those here who helped me with obtaining birth certificates.

On October 4, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this
customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any
instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed
within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT
processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you
move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also
receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow
