请教Pjiang:Name check will start or not even I-140 pending?

請教Pjiang:
My EB3 i-140 is pending for almost one year and i submitted I-485 at july. I really worry it will take forevr for I-140 approval. could you please tell me whether name check will start even I-140 pending? or have to get I-140 approval first? because I heard name check will take very long and I hope at least if it start now, i can save some time. Please advice. Thanks!!!
