No receipts- please help...!!!

My attorney filed my I-485 & AP on July 23 (EB2, NSC). I have not received any receipts so far. My attorney told me that I still need to wait for my receipts, and she also said AP would take another 3 to 6 months after I receive the receipts... Is that true? I was really sad, since I have not seen my parents for a long time... Can I call the customer service and ask? I don't have receipts, how can I ask? Thanks!
