Enter Canada for PR card

Hello there.

I am going to pick up my PR card. I applied for my PR card in Novermber and came back to US after submitted my application. I heard that I need a visitor visa to enter canada. Does anyone recently exeprience re-entrty to Canada. What kind of application should I fill? and how long does it take? I am in NYC. Did you experience any difficulty at the borders? Please share your knowledge and experience. Your help is much appreciated.
