Yes, you can leave your friend address to them, and let your friend mail the card to you later. It's no problem at all. I don't think the Maple Card will have any bad effect for your US PR. If the IO ask your status in America, you better tell them the truth. They allow you work in US and have the Canadian PR at the same time, so don't worry.
