Clarification on Dependent using EAD

I am the primary 485 applicant with H1B, LD has H1B also.

If LD used EAD to switch to a company that does not sponsor H1B, but my 485 got denied, can I still keep my H1B? Can LD join me as H4 or even go back to H1B?
