He will apply for EB1, and my PD is 08/2002,EB3.
And I think I read somewhere that it is not good to have 2 I485 applications for one person, is this correct?

- I would not, at least not before his EB-1 I-140 has been approved.

As a matter of fact, I have seen pretty much people who have multiple I-485s filed.
