life is fair. we stuck in NC for almost 4 years, and can't WOM because all the WOMs have been denied by Judge. From other side, we delay our buying house plan because green card delay, now the house price keep dropping down (20% now); we put the savings supposed to buy house into China market, now stock price keep going up. Also, we don't have green card, so work hard and carefully, and get promote and good reputation. Some of our friends and collegues got GR much faster than us, some guys lost their tenure track position after three years, some guys bought house now losing money, .... so life is fair in your whole life. Maybe you are not happy now, you will get much better in future, good luck!
