看了下麵幾個貼，關於H1延期期間回國， 很糊塗， 請問

我前一段時間問過 pjiang 老師類似的問題 （附）

老師說，
“Because he left the country before his H-1 extension petition is approved，such petition is regarded abandoned“。

現在回來後拿到了 approve notice (實際上是在國內期間批的），那如何知道這個批準是否有效呢？

另外回來入關時基於 H-1 （沒有 AP) 的 I-94 已經去CBP 延了，這樣是否就可以了？

his such petition is regarded abandoned.

If his last entry was under H-1, he will receive an I-94 with same number. There is no such thing that an I-94 becomes invalid because of its number being used/submitted.

He can not renew/extend his I-94.

When he goes to Canada, that would be a good chance for him to apply a new H-1 visa using his H-1 extension approval notice.

In case his H-1 extension approval notice is available to him before he enters US, he may try to use it at the customs. When CBP officer makes a mistake, I-94 may be stamped a longer stay period.

LG的 H1 延期批準時，人在中國，他回來入境時 I-94 的有效期是 H-1 延期批準前的有效期。這樣 H-1 延期批準上的 I-94 是不是就無效了，因為這個號碼已經在出境時上交了。現在的問題是：

這個 H-1 延期是否有效？要重新申請 H-1 延期嗎？
還是申請延期 I-94 （入境時給的那張）? 如何申請？可以去當地機場海關嗎？ 還是要寄到 移民局？
另外，他將在第一個 H-1 過期前半個月去加拿大，可以在回來時在機場入關時，要求把 I-94 延期到新 H-1 有效期嗎？
