I have got my OPT EAD that will start from Oct 1, 2007. But I remember that OPT is for student training purpose only. If I lose F1 status, is my OPT EAD card still valid? This is really critical to me.

- Theoretically the OPT/EAD becomes invalid as you lose F-1, I think. In practice, I believe it's ok to use without much hurts since you're in AOS any way. If you want to be in a safe position, apply an EAD based on I-485.
