My Mother's B2 Visa

My mother got a B2 visa in Shanghai Consulate. It is suggested 2-month stay in the visa stamp. However when she arrived in US, the custom officer gave her a 6-month stay stamp from 05/11/2004 to 11/10/2004. I already booked air ticket for her return trip on 06/13/2004. But if it is OK to stay until 11/10/2004, I want her to stay almost another 5 months.

For her case, any negative impact on her future B2 visa application if she took a 6-month stay (it is lagal of course).
