uscis asks for "a birth certificate that has been issued by the appropriate civil authority."
That is hu ko bu in china.
1. copy you hu ko bu
2. translate it to english
3. put this word on the bottom : I certify that the translation is complete and accurate.
4. go to bank notarize it.
5. put both chinese copy and notarized english one together.
