you need turn in your I-94 when you leave US. When you come back with AP, you will be give a new I-94 with one year status of parolee. However, based on current USCIS policy, you can work with same employer without EAD, if you had a H-1B status before your leaving. And you can extend your H-1B to switch back your status from parolee to H1B.
