Do you need to do anything AFTER one year?

Thank you for your kind reply. One question lingers: Suppose my H1 is still valid for two and half years (just extended) and I make a trip out of the country using AP. After return to the US, the new I-94 is valid for only one year. My question is: Do I need to do anything at the end of one year? Should I go by my H1 I-94, which is valid for another two and half years but I have already turned in when leaving this country, or should I go by the new one, which is valid for only one year?

Specifically, when you got to renew your driver's license at the end of one year, what are you going to do? Many thanks.
