In an email I received from my lawyer, it states "Please do not attempt to contact the USCIS Service Center directly; speaking to a USCIS officer regarding this case may adversely affect it." is it true that every time we call the CIS customer service, they may make a note etc. that will adversely affect our case?
- Although most of time when you call USCIS, you speak with a CSR, not VO, I don't agree on what your attorney says.
BTW, how soon can the finger print notice usually be received after receiving 485 receipt? Is there anything that you'd advice us to prepare for the finger print process?
- How soon to receive FP notice may vary, but you're in good shape for FP as long as you keep all your 10 fingers with you (no loss, and no hurt either)
