Need help again!

My H1B will expire one and half year later. But I just begin the US green card application. My canada green card was already preapproved (pass first step), and very probably I will get the Canada green card within one year. My question is : Does Canada green card can help me to stay in US after my H1B expires one year later,in case my I140 is not approved?
