Check the website for all the info you need. If you and your GF are not married, she would have to apply for the Canadian permanent resident status as a skilled worker from scratch, and it is very likely that she won't get it untill two years later. Marriage based application should be faster. She has to stay 2 years out of any 5 years in order to maintain the candadian status, so, calculate yourself, if she can have both GC at the same time.
