You need to have your phone with you on the day that your parents arrive, and prepare to answer questions like why you buy one-way ticket. I received the call from Detroit Customs Officer when my mom came last June with the one-way ticket. They took her to the office to find out the reason she came to US with this one-way ticket AND I was the person she was visiting AND I would buy her another ticket when it was time for her to go back to China. She had no much time to catch the next plane. So it is OK to come with one-way ticket but be ready to answer any phone calls. Best wishes!
