I-485 with Lawyer?

Hi, I've learnt so much useful information on this website. I believe I can manage to do i-485 DIY. However, there's one problem that my hu*****and and I are separated in different states and our residence is temporary and we may be moving again within 1-2 years. I don't know if this will cause confusion, delay, even mistakes for CIS. Is it worth 3000-4000 to avoid this trouble?
