如何證明自己是CA RESIDENT

請問各位，我現在是F-1 OPT, 10月1日以後是H-1,申請了一學校讀晚上的MBA PROGRAM,10月開學. 為交州內學費，請教了該學校的國際學生ADVISOR, 她告訴我必須一年以後才能算CA RESIDENT.我之前在加州一直是F-1,生活了4年了.ADVISOR 說這不算,請問是不是一定要H-1滿一年才能算加州居民待遇啊? 謝謝大家了!
