H1 transfer? Please help. thanks.

1. Do I need to do H1b transfer if I will move to diffferent lab within the same University, (same or different Departments)???

2. My I-140 is pending (NSC, filed in October, 2006) and I just filed I-485 this July. The question is will the I-140 and I-485 be affected if I change job by the end of this year ???
