什麽時候我必須離境簽h1b? 兩周前剛拿到h1b（ｉ７９７ｂ， ｒｅｑｕｉｒｅｄ ｔｏ ｇｅｔｖｉｓａ ｉｎ Ｂｅｉｊｉｇ Ｃｏｎｓｕｌａｔｅ）, 本人上周file i485,ＯＰＴ grace period(August 20) 馬上到期。想等拿到ｒｅｃｅｉｐｔ和 AP再出境。有人說我必須在９／２１之前激活ｈ１ｂ，否則ｈ１ｂ無效。我都不知道怎麽訂機票好。

Normally F-1 has 2 mos grace period so you're legal if you leave before Oct 20th.
There's no such thing you must apply for H-1 visa before 9/21. But you may not enter US 10 days earlier than your H-1 effective date, which means you can't enter US before 9/21.
