I-131 denied

I sent out I-131 February 7, 2007, and denied today.


In the letter, It said: “ The record indicates that the applicant filed Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, whch is still pending. The record in this case fails to establish that the application is a lawful permanent resident or conditional permanent resident of the United States. It is therefore concluded that the applicant is not eligible to receive a reentry permit until a favorable decision is reached on the applicant’s Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. In view the above, this application must be and is denied as a matter of law. ”

I have never heard such cases like me. Anyone have such experience before??
