I think if you intend to work in the job for some time and the job is quite secure, I don't think you need to apply for EAT and AP, because your H1B will last you for a long time without much trouble.
If you have AP, sometimes some CBP officer who does not understand the law may force you to use it.
I decided not to file for EAD and AP this time.
