H1-B和H1的區別

我是加拿大移民，現在在加拿大，12月畢業，正在申請美國的工作。有公司問我："Thank you for your interest in the ***. As we are aware,we are a U.S.-based company. I need to confirm whether you would be able to provide evidence of authorization to work in the U.S. or are aware of whatauthorization may be required."
請問,(1)我是應該申請H1-B還是H1? 這中間都有什麽申請步驟呀?
(2)加拿大公民申請這兩個簽證會比我們容易嗎?獵頭說,美國公司喜歡要加拿大公民.可使他們不也和我們一樣需要申請簽證嗎?
